Jose Rama Campoverde was sentenced Thursday after he pleaded guilty to one felony count of lewd acts on a child under 14, five felony counts of lewd acts on a child and two misdemeanor counts of child annoyance. Campoverde was charged with molesting the girls, who ranged from 13 to 17 years old, between July 2004 and September 2009. Authorities say the assaults took place at the Ministerio Cristo Vive church and other locations. The 46-year-old Campoverde was ordered to register as a sex offender.
