	Priest Found Dead in Seminary Home By Juan Escandor Inquirer July 30, 2010 http://newsinfo.inquirer.net/breakingnews/regions/view/20100728-283694/Priest-found-dead-in-seminary-home A Catholic priest was found dead Wednesday morning in his room at the Holy Rosary Minor Seminary in San Jose, Camarines Sur, about 35 km. from this city, police said. Police Officer 2 Wig Pramis, police on case, identified the priest as Fr. Baltazar Acompanado, 35. Pramis told the Inquirer in a telephone interview Wednesday night that the Catholic authorities of the Archdiocese of Caceres asked the police to make the information private so as not to sensationalize the case. But he confirmed that he sent an initial investigation report to the police provincial office, which gave some details of the death of the priest. Fr. Louie Occiano confirmed the death of Acompanado and said he was serving as the rector of the seminary at the time of his death.
