Sex, money and insubordination are all included within the allegations of misconduct at a Bonita Springs church. And they could keep a priest from ever holding services again.

A CPA firm is investigating whether Father Stan Strycharz skewed finances at St. Leo's Church to take home money.

He's been on administrative leave from the church since July 23.

A spokesperson for the Catholic Diocese of Venice says the investigation is the result of complaints by parishioners about his lifestyle, as well as those possible financial issues.

Celibacy is one of the vows taken to become a priest and there are concerns that Strycharz was having consensual sex with adults.

No children are involved in the allegations.

Being on administrative leave means Strycharz is still receiving full pay and benefits, but he simply cannot perform mass.

Whether he'll be able to perform that task in the future is still up in the air.

The CPA firm has five years worth of paperwork to go through. And at some point, Bishop Frank Dewane, with the Catholic Diocese of Venice, will meet with Strycharz to discuss his future with the Diocese.
