Vince Ryan has spent more than 14 years in jail, after admitting to abusing 35 boys dating back to 1972. His actions cost the Catholic Church millions of dollars in compensation to his victims. A Corrective Services spokesman says Ryan was released at midday and will be strictly monitored while on parole.
