A Saanich Priest Charged With Sex Offences Has Been Released From Custody With Several Conditions.

Sgt Dean Jantzen Says Phillip Jacobs Cannot Have Contact With Anyone If They Appear Under The Age Of 18

"Conditions Of Not To Communicate With Several People Involved In The Investigation, Not To Attend Any Public Park, Day Care Centre, Swimming Pool, Playgrounds, School Grounds Places Like That, Surrender Any Travel Documents To Our Investigators, Not To Leave Vancouver Island Except With Written Permission."

Jacobs, Who Is A Former Priest Of St Joseph The Worker'S Parish, Will Appear In Court Again On September 2nd.

Police Are Still Encouraging The Public To Come Forward With Any Information They May Have Regarding This Case.
