Ryan, 72, walked out of Long Bay after serving 14 years for sexually abusing 35 boys aged from six to 14 over a 20-year period. The former Hunter Valley priest will be subject to strict parole conditions and electronic surveillance which will activate an alarm if Ryan lingers near a school.
