A group representing those who have been abused by priests is hoping the returning Episcopal Bishop of Pennsylvania will use his post to protect children.

Karen Polesir is the Philadelphia head of SNAP, the Survivors Network of those Abused By Priests. She hopes Bishop Charles Bennison will use his position to make sure parents tell their children about how to stop abuse from happening.

"It is a concern sure, because none of the hierarchies have not proven to us that they are changing they say they will but these things continue to happen, we are very concerned that children are in danger and we just want to be sure that people are aware of potential dangers and can protect their children."

An appeals panel overturned Bishop Bennison's conviction of covering up his brothers affair with an underage girl in California. He is expected to return to his post of running the 55 thousand member diocese on Monday. Bennison's attorney says he will do everything he can to prevent any abuse by clergy.
