A Co Tyrone Catholic priest has stepped down while an investigation into the safety and welfare of children is carried out.

Parish priest Father Eugene Boland has taken "administrative leave" from his current parish in Killyclogher.
It is understood he told parishioners of his decision to take leave during Sunday mass.
In a statement issued by the Bishop of Derry, Dr Seamus Hegarty said: "A priest of the diocese has requested and been granted administrative leave while an issue of safeguarding is being processed."
