A Bethlehem pastor already facing trial for allegedly sexually assaulting a girl for seven years starting when she was 12 now faces new charges he allegedly sexually assaulted a 14-year-old girl.

Santos Adiel Rosado Jr., 44, of the 500 block of Wyandotte Street, was arraigned today on charges including four counts of statutory sexual assault. He was sent to Northampton County Prison in lieu of 10 percent of $500,000 bail.

Police said three years ago Rosado met the victim, who was 14 at the time, when her family attended Bethlehem Community Fellowship, 1417 Marvine St., where he served as pastor.

Police said the sexual assaults continued until June 2009. The victim is now 16 years old.

The second case started in May 1993, when the victim turned 12, police said.Rosado started sexually assaulting the girl numerous times and ultimately raped her when she was 18, police said.

For part of that time, Rosado served as pastor of Centro de Adoracion in Bethlehem. Police did not say if the girl attended that church at the time.

Rosado was arraigned Aug. 3 on two counts of rape and related charges and posted 10 percent of $50,000 bail. He is scheduled to be formally arraigned in that case Sept. 16 in Northampton County Court.

In addition to the sexual assault charges, Rosado, a former worker at the Sands Casino Resort Bethlehem, is accused of helping a group use counterfeit player cards at the casino to steal about $1,700, police said.
