Multiple media outlets reported the Rev. Johnny William Cabe of York was arrested Tuesday and charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor, committing lewd act on a child under 16 and unlawfully practicing medicine. The arrest warrant states that the 50-year-old Rock Hill pastor inappropriately touched the boy at church. The warrant says Cabe examined the child, diagnosed a physical ailment and prescribed treatment. York County Sheriff's Lt. Mike Baker says the sexual conduct occurred between December 2008 and June 2010. Attorney Thomas McKinney said Wednesday he had talked with Cabe about turning himself in and helped with the bond hearing by phone McKinney has not been retained yet to handle the case.
