A former Chattanooga Catholic priest accused of sexually abusing children will not be taken off home electronic monitoring.

William Casey began his career here in the 1960's.

He faces charges of forcible sodomy and indecent liberties with a minor in Southwest Virginia, and criminal sexual conduct and aggravated rape in Kingsport, Tennessee.

A judge denied Casey's motion to remove the monitor, following a bond dispute.

Casey's next court appearance is scheduled for November 22nd.
