BLOUNTVILLE, Tenn. - A former Knoxville priest and convicted child molester appeared in a Sullivan County courtroom today to answer charges of sexual molestation - without an attorney.

Sullivan County Deputy District Attorney Barry P. Staubus said William "Bill" Casey, 76, has not yet found a Tennessee lawyer to represent him.

Casey is charged with one count of first-degree criminal sexual conduct and two counts of aggravated rape. The charges stem from alleged sexual abuse of Warren Tucker when he was a boy in the late 1970s and early 1980s.
