•The archdiocese has about 3,800 full-time employees.

•There are 302 priests in the archdiocese, 182 of whom are eligible to serve in the archdiocese. Those numbers are expected to decline in the next few years.

•Catholics make up the largest denomination in the Twin Cities, and their numbers in the archdiocese have steadily grown over the last two decades to nearly 800,000 within a 12-county area.

•The archdiocese currently has 213 parishes and 98 schools.

•In parishes across the archdiocese, nearly 32 percent of weekend masses are less than a third full.

•More than 25 percent of parishes are being monitored by the archdiocese because of serious debt and budget issues.
