The former pastor of St. John the Baptist Church has been accused of stealing more than $80,000 from that church, and spending it on pornography.

According to authorities, Reverend Keith LeBlanc’s porn habit started the day after he came to the Haverhill parish back in 2003. Court papers showed that LeBlanc took that money from collections, including money from candle and flower sales, a yard sale and a Christmas bazaar.

Court papers showed that Father LeBlanc had a credit card that was used for online pornography, which had a $25,000 balance. Apparently the priest was ordering adult movies on Pay-Per-View, and racked up a Comcast bill over $4,000.

“It’s pretty disgusting for a priest to be doing something like that,” said one man.

“He needs to pay for what he did. If it calls for jail, yes, put him in jail,” said one woman.

Apparently father LeBlanc is getting help at a facility in Pennsylvania that specializes in treating behavioral health issues of clergy, but he is still facing criminal charges.

“He’s a thief! Get him out of Pennsylvania and send him to jail,” said another.

The reverend left the parish back in June, and will be back in the court room next month.
