"What happened to you was wrong, and the State should investigate…"
The message to women from the Magdalene Laundries by the Irish Human Rights Commission, who've just published a landmark report.
In it, they say the State has 'serious questions' to answer, and the report also criticises the Religious institutions which ran the laundries, for failing to release records of the women and girls detained there.
Claire Mcgettrick from Justice for Magdalene's told 98FM's Louise Byrne the State has 'serious questions' to answer, and an inquiry should be established.
