A Roman Catholic priest suspended after federal agents in Philadelphia seized his laptop has sought riches online through various marketing schemes.

Fr. Geraldo Pinero endorses several "multi-level marketing" companies, or MLMs, in Facebook, blog and other postings.

The 46-year-old pastor calls himself "Jerry from Philly" and is shown, sans collar, wearing a tuxedo or sweater. He promises recruits they can get rich selling candles, life coaching or other services.

The Archdiocese of Philadelphia bans priests from most secular work.

Pinero leads the multicultural Incarnation of Our Lord parish.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents say the criminal probe doesn't concern anyone's immigration status, but won't say more.

Pinero did not return an e-mail message.
