SAN JOSE, Calif.—A Northern California man charged with assaulting a Jesuit priest he says molested him more than three decades ago is making another court appearance.

Will Lynch of San Francisco is scheduled to enter a plea Tuesday in Santa Clara Superior Court on a count of assault. He is accused of beating up 65-year-old Jerold Lindner earlier this year.

Lynch's attorney, Pat Harris, says the 43-year-old plans to plead not guilty.

Lindner has repeatedly denied molesting Lynch and his little brother in 1975 during a weekend camping trip in the Santa Cruz Mountains.

Lynch is accused of tracking Lindner to his Los Gatos retirement home in May and beating him bloody in front of shocked witnesses.
