A third man has filed a lawsuit alleging he was sexually abused by a Connecticut priest, saying he was threatened with expulsion from school if he did not comply.

The 40-year-old man, identified only as John Doe, says he was repeatedly sexually abused by the Rev. Stephen Bzdyra (BIZ'-der-ah) at St. Stanislaw Church in Meriden when he was 10 or 11.

Another man has a lawsuit alleging Bzdyra molested him repeatedly when he was an altar boy. It accuses the priest of paying hush money and threatening to report the alleged victim's mother to the welfare department for having too many jobs if he revealed the abuse.

Bzdyra's attorney, Hugh Keefe, has denied the allegations against Bzdyra, who was placed on administrative leave. A message was left for Keefe Friday.
