Three church members won't being going to jail after being found guilty of failing to report suspected sexual abuse of a child.

WMWV reported that Judge Pamela Albee sentenced the pastor of the Valley Christian Church in Conway and two church elders to 30 days in jail, all suspended, plus probation and a $2,000 fine each.

They were found guilty of a misdemeanor charge of failing to report that they suspected a 12-year-old girl had been sexually abused by another church elder. No one has been charged.

The alleged abuse happened in September 2009. Albee found that 34-year-old Timothy Dillmuth of Stow, Maine, the pastor, and 70-year-old Robert Gagnon and 62-year-old Richard Eland, both elders from Brownfield, Maine, didn't tell the police until February.
