The Senior Bishops met the Survivors and Victims of Institutional Abuse group in Newry this afternoon. The Apostolic Visitation was led by Cardinal Cormac Murphy-O'Connor, the retired archbishop of Westminster. One survivor, John Meehan, welcomed the Cardinal's commitment to delegate someone to remain in contact with his group.
