	Texas: Former Priest Charged with Seeking to Arrange Murder of Abuse Accuser Catholic Culture January 26, 2011 http://www.catholicculture.org/news/headlines/index.cfm?storyid=9041 In Texas, a former Catholic priest will be in court this week to face charges that he tried to hire someone to kill a boy who had accused him of sexual abuse. John Fiala has been behind bars since his arrest last November on murder-for-hire charges. Last week the San Antonio archdiocese reached a settlement of nearly 1 million in a lawsuit brought by his accuser. Fiala denies all wrongdoing.
