NEW YORK (WABC) -- New York Archbishop Timothy Dolan is on the defensive, denying an accusation that millions of dollars were funneled away from the Archdiocese of Milwaukee to avoid paying sex abuse payouts.

Archbishop Timothy Dolan said, "To think that there was $130 million in hidden funds. Like, Dolan's got some offshore account in the Cayman Islands or something? This is just ludicrous."

Dolan ran the Archdiocese of Milwaukee for seven years before coming to New York.

Attorneys working on a sex abuse case there plan to depose him.

Dolan says he did nothing wrong and looks forward to cooperating with investigators.
