The Archdiocese of Milwaukee is being accused of hiding assets, specifically $130 million, to avoid paying sex abuse settlements. The accusation comes out of a bankruptcy hearing last Friday.

As details of the matter emerge, they have prompted questions for New York's Archbishop Timothy Dolan, who served in Milwaukee before being appointed to head the New York Archdiocese.

On Sunday, Archbishop Dolan was met by reporters following Mass at St. Patrick's Cathedral. He said he welcomed the opportunity to shed some light on the accusations that were made and insisted he has nothing to hide and would gladly share what he knows with investigators.

A spokeswoman for the Archdiocese of Milwaukee said in a phone interview Sunday afternoon that "by no means was any of this money hidden."
