Jason Roy Bolton, 33, a former preacher, is charged with stalking a 17-year-old girl.

A former pastor was charged Saturday with stalking a Woodbridge 17-year-old, his second arrest on charges involving an underage girl.

Jason Roy Bolton, of 4817 Benecia Lane, is charged with stalking in connection with an incident Friday, Prince William County police spokesman Jonathan Perok said.

A former pastor at the Potomac Crest Baptist Church at 15418 Cardinal Drive in Woodbridge, the 33-year-old Bolton was charged in July with sodomy involving a 17-year-old girl after they allegedly had a consensual sexual relationship beginning early last year. Police said it is unclear if Friday’s victim is the same person.

Bolton, who resigned from the church in May, allegedly came to the victim’s workplace — in the 2400 block of Prince William Parkway — on Friday about 6 p.m. The victim, a 17-year-old girl, also told police that the accused was seen driving on the street near hear home.

A warrant was issued for Bolton, who was arrested the following day.

In July, police opened an investigation into a report of alleged child abuse and determined that the pastor and a now 17-year-old girl, started a close friendship in September 2007.

At the time of Bolton’s July arrest, police said that the girl and Bolton had “multiple encounters since early 2010.”
