This after allegations that he sexually molested a minor at a different ministry in the 1970's. Parishioners at St. Mary's Visitation Catholic Church in Elm Grove were leaving mass moments after receiving a letter that tells them one of their priests, Father Laurin J. Wenig, was removed. Father Wenig is being accused of molesting a minor in the 1970's at a different church, and now he's being removed from his position while the abuse claim is investigated. A number of church members that did speak to FOX6 find the allegations absurd. One parishioner said, "I stand behind our pastor 100%. I don't believe he did this. He's an admirable person, and we have a great deal of respect for him."
