Now that the Milwaukee Archdiocese has filed for bankruptcy protection, victims of priest sexual abuse have a shorter window to come forward. A 30-day media blitz will begin Friday to urge victims of clergy sexual abuse to come forward.

A Minnesota lawyer is already suing the Archdiocese of Milwaukee, alleging that one of its now deceased priests molested as many as 200 deaf boys between 1950-1974.

Attorney Jeff Anderson and a couple of the alleged victims urged other victims to come forward in a news conference Thursday afternoon.

"I was abused when I went to St. John's School for the Deaf beginning at age of four," said one alleged victim. "I was abused for many years."

The archdiocese filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in January, citing potential debts from lawsuits.

In filing for bankruptcy, the archdiocese is putting out a last call for victims of abuse to come forward.
