In the wake of the trial and conviction of the still-missing Prakashanand Saraswati, Barsana Dham has canceled its celebration of Holi, a Hindu festival celebrating the arrival of Spring that this year falls on March 20.

The decision was posted as an announcement on the ashram’s webpage:

We are sad to say that, in light of the events of the past several weeks, we will not be celebrating Holi this year at Barsana Dham. While the celebratory aspects of Holi will not take place, we will be holding devotional services daily at the Temple, and, as always, welcome all devotees and visitors to attend.

On March 8, Saraswati was sentenced to 14 years in prison for each of 20 counts of molesting two girls who grew up at the ashram. Thousands of worshipers attend services there during important religious holidays at the 200-acre compound in Driftwood.
