	Pastor Convicted of Molesting Teen Parishioner CBS News March 14, 2011 http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2011/03/14/national/main20043167.shtml (AP) SANTA ANA, Calif. - A pastor at the Apostolic Christian Church in San Clemente has been convicted of molesting a 14-year-old female parishioner. A jury found Ricardo Avalos Maffey guilty Monday of five felony counts of lewd acts upon a child and one felony count of contacting a minor with the intent to engage in child molestation. He faces a maximum sentence of six years in state prison at his sentencing scheduled for April 15. Maffey met the teen, whose name is not being released, while he was a pastor and the victim was a volunteer at the church office. Between May and August 2008, prosecutors say he kissed and touched the girl and sent her numerous e-mails. The victim's mother discovered some of the messages and contacted the church who contacted police.
