Rigali said, "this was our meeting , all the priests, they gathered in the name of Jesus in order to reflect on the situation."

Rigali wouldn't say what was discussed in detail, and he withheld comment on the 21 priests who were suspended last week.

Rigali met with priests from Philadelphia on Monday, the same day four Philadelphia priests and one monsignor were in court.

The four priests are charged with sexually abusing or endangering minors.
