VANCOUVER, Wash. – A youth pastor at a Vancouver church is accused of abusing two teenage boys during devotions.

It's a huge blow for The Wesleyan Church in Northeast Vancouver. Jason Lee Wolk, 25, thought to be spiritually advising teenagers is now accused of sexually abusing two of the boys.

According to court documents, a 14-year-old and a 16-year-old told detectives Wolk mentored them through the church youth group and the alleged abuse happened between June and December.

The youngest said he did devotions with Wolk in order to help with his "Christian life walk." He told detectives that the two would read on his bed with Wolk's arm reportedly around the boy's shoulder. Two weeks in, while discussing temptation, the teenager said that Wolk touched him inappropriately over his clothes. The victim said it happened again, four or five times, and one of those times it was at Wolk's house in his bedroom.

The teenager said Wolk made him strip to his boxers and lay in bed next to him. While praying, the teenager said Wolk again touched him inappropriately. Then he got up to take a shower in order to "get ready for church."

The head pastor at the church said he didn't have any comment but agreed with a reporter that this was an unfortunate situation.

Wolk will be at the Clark County Courthouse Wednesday to answer to five sex abuse-type charges.
