BOSTON -- Senator Scott Brown reacted to the death at Camp Good News on Wednesday.

Senator Scott Brown has not named the man who molested him and he told radio host Howie Carr that it will stay that way.

Sen Brown: "Unless you've experienced it, you have no clue what it's like to talk about it, number one. And to have expectations of what other people want you to do, you know, everybody wrestles with these things as I have been wrestling with it for 42 years, as this other individual, I understand, was wrestling with it and finally came forward. And if I can help people have the strength to move on and move forward, then I've done my job."

Brown recently revealed he suffered abuse at the hands of a camp counselor at Camp Good News years ago.

He responded sharply when Carr asked if he felt any guilt about Wednesday's incident.

Sen. Brown: "I'm the victim, so I'm a victim, Howie. I've felt guilty long enough, and it's taken me 42 years to come forward and talk about it."

Carr: "But there could be other victims."

Sen. Brown: "And if that's the case, if me and the young man who came forward have given other people the strength to move forward and come out and talk about it, that's great."
