Eleven people are now alleging they were abused as children at a Cape Cod summer camp, according to Wicked Local.

Attorney Mitchell Garabedian said the victims have contacted his office alleging abuse at Camp Good News in Sandwich.

The victims include a man who says he was abused as a 10-year-old boy at the hands of camp employee Charles Devita, who was found dead of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound last week.

Garabedian told Wicked Local that not all the alleged victims accused Devita and that the victims are encouraging others to come forward.

On Friday, the camp's accreditation was revoked by the state, pending the abuse investigation, but it can reapply for accreditation if the abuse allegations are proven false.

The camp came under fire earlier this year when Sen. Scott Brown revealed he was sexually abuse while attending a Cape Cod camp as a child. Camp Good News later confirmed Brown was a camper there and apologized to the senator.
