  Jealous Priest Sentenced for Stalking Two Colleagues in Austria

A clerical love triangle ended in court in Austria on Friday, when a Catholic priest was found guilty and sentenced for stalking a male theology student and another priest, a court official confirmed.

A judge in Innsbruck found that the Slovak-born defendant had sexually harassed the other priest with letters and telephone calls over several months out of jealousy, as both men had a relationship with the student.

The young theologian eventually ended his affair with the 44-year old defendant and also found himself hounded by telephone calls over nine months, Austrian broadcaster ORF reported.

The priest was sentenced to a fine of 1,800 euros (2,600 dollars), pending possible appeals.

The court official did not disclose the names of the involved men, in according with privacy rules, but told the German Press Agency
