KANSAS CITY, Mo.— The Survivor's Network of those Abused by Priests or SNAP has asked for a grand jury investigation into allegations of sexual abuse in the Diocese of Kansas City St. Joseph. The latest lawsuit was filed by Bill Kopp. He says former Father Thomas Reardon sexually abused him.

The abuse started when Kopp was nine-years-old at Visitation School. Kopp's father, George Kopp was the first deacon ordained by the Diocese in 1976 which made him feel like he couldn't say anything. Kopp was a popular athlete and student at Rockhurst High School. He says the abuse ruined his life. Now he wants justice for all victims.

"How dare you take away my life, my livelihood by lying to me and manipulating me when I revered you as a child of God," Bill Kopp said. "I would like him to answer me that."

Bill Kopp is the 23rd alleged victim to file a lawsuit against Thomas Reardon. Reardon left eh priesthood during the 90's. The Diocese said it will further investigate the cases.
