	Priest Suspended Following Allegations The Newstalk May 1, 2011 http://www.newstalk.ie/2011/news/810atmwicklowcopyso36/ It's emerged that a Catholic priest has been suspended from his ministry in the Archdiocese of Tuam. It comes after an allegation described as 'child safeguarding' issues was made against the priest. In a statement the Archbishop of Tuam, Dr Michael Neary said the allegation dated back to the 1980s and has been reported to the authorities. The name the priest or other details have not been made public.
