LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- The Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests sent a statement to the Catholic Church Saturday.

At the Cathedral of the Assumption, protesters held signs showing disapproval with the Archdiocese of Louisville. Protesters say they're upset because the Archdiocese is allowing a priest accused of child abuse to live in a parish.

Jeff Koenig, with SNAP Louisville said, "I hope it makes the average lay Catholic realize what the Archdiose is doing behind the scenes. They need to be made aware of it."

Margie and Gary Weiter sued the Archdiocese over the matter in January.

The Archdiocese's attorneys are trying to get the case dismissed and a spokesperson for the Archdiocese said they couldn't give further comment while litigation is still pending.
