KANSAS CITY, MO - A review board made up of Catholic Church members discussed among other things the child pornography charges brought up against Father Shawn Ratigan on Wednesday, as protestors gathered outside.

Attendees of the meeting at Catholic Center declined to discuss the subject of the meeting, but members of SNAP, or the Survivors Network of Those Abused by Priests, sent letters to Catholic parishioners in the metro inviting them to a meeting Thursday night.

They say a five page memo sent to the bishop from the principal at St. Patrick Cchool regarding Ratigan was ignored.

"I find it very hard to believe that Finn didn't see this document, and if he didn't it's because he told his second in command I don't want to see it," says David Clohessy.

Bishop Robert Finn has said he mishandled the issue by not reading the full letter when it was sent more than a year ago. The letter, written by Julie Hess, outlines concerns from parents and other teachers at the school, saying they believed Father Ratigan may be a "child molester."

Also Wednesday, attorneys who say they represent a victim of ratigan, said they would file a lawsuit in federal court Thursday, naming Ratigan, Bishop Finn, and the Diocese.
