The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office has arrested Bernard Chojnacki, 36, for reportedly exposing sexual organs following an undercover investigation into indecent activities on Caspersen Beach, a Sheriff's Office release said.

Around 1pm yesterday, Chojnacki grabbed an undercover detective inappropriately, exposed himself and stated his desire to perform a sexual act. Chojnacki was arrested and charged with exposure of sexual organs and battery, deputies said.

He posted bond shortly after being booked into the Sarasota County Jail.

In December 2009, the Diocese of Venice appointed Father Bernard Chojnacki as Parochial Vicar of St. Charles Borromeo Parish in Port Charlotte. He lists his occupation as teacher and priest. He has no listed address.
