Elisa Martinelli, a former teacher at a private Baptist Christian school has been charged with sexually abusing some of her students. Several male and female former students have come forward with stories that paint a devastating picture of seduction and sexual abuse. Martinelli's alleged crimes took place over 9 years.

Martinelli taught at Dayspring Christian Academy. The 100 student private school was next to, and affiliated, with the Dayspring Church next door. Her father, Nelson Quintana Sr. is pastor of the church and head of the school. Her brother, Nelson Quintana Jr. has been charged with one count of misdemeanor criminal sexual abuse in connection with a student not associated with the allegations against Elisa. It seems propensity for predatory sexual behavior with children may run in this family.

Elisa Martinelli is accused of using alcohol and sexual stories to groom her victims who range in age from 13 to 17 during the time of the sexual abuse. Of the four victims mentioned in the charges, 3 were girls and one was a boy. The earliest incident started in 1998 with a then 18-year-old girl and lasted till the victim turned 18.
