A small group from the Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests, or SNAP, are expected outside the Detroit archdiocese office in downtown Detroit on Monday afternoon.

The group says a former priest at St. Damian in Westland, Father Bernard Chojnacki, was arrested in Sarasota Florida for allegedly exposing himself to an undercover police officer.

The group says there is NO evidence that Chojnacki did anything wrong while at St. Damian and Sts. Cyril and Methodius Seminary in Orchard Lake where he studied.

SNAP will urge archbishop Allen Vigneron to put the information on the archdiocese website and encourage anyone who might have information or suspicions about Chojnacki to contact police.

Chojnacki was ordained in 2009 and has worked at parishes in Venice, Palmetto, Naples and Port Charlotte, Florida.
