“Fr. John Corapi’s much anticipated announcement, proclaiming the introduction of “The Black SheepDog.” Within this announcement is an update regarding the most-recent accusations, his response, his mission, as well as his gratitude for all who have supported his priesthood”. I find that in his response he leaves a lot of questions on the table. For instance: is he still a priest? Will he have any role within the Church or is he a layman? What message will he be giving in his new ministry that his audience is now going to be more broad?
As you can tell by the comments on youtube, it has left many people confused.
My heart and prayers go out to Fr. Corapi. What has happened to him and the process of his investigation is beyond words. I give him tremendous kudos for telling his followers to obey the decisions of the bishops regardless if they think it is unjust or not.
