	Lifetree Cafe Hosts ‘hurt by Church’ Sunday The Tribune June 18, 2011 http://www.greeleytribune.com/article/20110617/NEWS/706179976/1002&parentprofile=1 The Lifetree Cafe will host the “Hurt by Church” event at 7:15 p.m. Sunday and at noon Thursday. Lifetree representative Craig Cable said the event offers a forum for people who have had bad experiences at church as well as current church leaders and members. Cable said in a statement that some people get hurt by churches in a variety of ways. “Some complain about how they were treated by clergy or church members. Some report sexual, emotional, or physical abuse. Some feel victimized by church policies and others feel unappreciated for their volunteer work.” Admission to the hour-long event is free and snacks and beverages will be provided.
