Jury selection for the second trial of a former East Tennessee priest accused of molesting a boy in the 1970's has begun Monday in Sullivan County.

Bill Casey, 76, was retired but still an active member of the Knoxville Diocese when the allegations became public in 2010.

Warren Tucker, who now lives in Indiana, said Casey molested him as a youth, when Casey was a priest at Saint Dominic's Catholic Church. He said the abuse took place in several locations in East Tennessee, North Carolina, and Virginia.

Casey is on trial for aggravated rape and sexual misconduct charges in Sullivan County. He has pleaded not guilty.

Casey entered a guilty plea to the charges in McDowell County, North Carolina. He also faces charges in Scott County, Virginia.
