The trial of a former East Tennessee

priest charged with molesting a boy is beginning in Blountville.

Court convened for the start of the aggravated rape and sexual

misconduct trial of 76-year-old William Casey on Monday, according

to the Kingsport Times-News.

Warren Tucker of Jeffersonville, Ind., who has gone public with

his claims that Casey molested him as a youth, says the abuse

occurred when Casey was a priest at St. Dominic's Catholic Church

in Kingsport in the 1970s. Tucker is now 46 years old. He reported

his claims to the Kingsport Police Department in April 2010.

Casey pleaded not guilty to the Kingsport charges.

Casey entered guilty pleas to similar offenses in McDowell

County, N.C., and faces more charges in Scott County, Va.
