  Berlin Priest Arrested, Charged with Impairing the Morals of Minors

Father Michael Miller, 41, of St. Paul's Catholic Church in Kensington, was charged with five counts of risk of injury or impairing the morals of a minor and a single count of criminal attempt to obscenity. Miller has been hospitalized at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford over the last week, and police arrested him at the hospital Tuesday

BERLIN - Police arrested a local priest Tuesday on charges that he had inappropriate contact with more than one minor.

Father Michael Miller, 41, of St. Paul's Catholic Church in Kensington, was charged with five counts of risk of injury or impairing the morals of a minor and a single count of criminal attempt to obscenity. Miller has been hospitalized at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford over the last week, and police arrested him at the hospital Tuesday.

He was released after posting $150,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in New Britain Superior Court on July 26.
