Fr Michael Canny was speaking after an unprecedented attack by Taoiseach Enda Kenny in the Vatican over its handling of clerical sex abuse. Fr Canny said it seemed the Vatican was unable to change. He said priests shared the anger of lay Catholics over the church's handling of abuse.
