MYFOXNY.COM - A Teaneck, N.J. rabbi is accused of sex crimes involving two 13-year-old boys.

The Bergen County Prosecutor's Office charged Rabbi Uzi Rivlin with sex crimes.

Prosecutors say the boys were visitors from Israel and were staying in Rivlin's home at different times when the attacks took place.

One child reported that his visit was in the summer of 2009 and one child reported that his visit was in summer of 2010. Both children had separately reported the sexual abuse to Israeli police after they had returned to Israel.

The children came to the United States through a scholarship fund that is in part sponsored by Rivlin called the Scholarship Fund for the Advancement of Children in Israel. Children travel during the summer and reside with host families and attend camp.

Bail was set at $175,000.00. Rivlin was remanded to the Bergen County Jail in lieu of bail.

The investigation is continuing to determine if any other children who had visited from Israel and stayed with Rivlin may have been a victim of sexual abuse.
