Rochester (13WHAM-TV) – Pastor Joe Flowers of the “Walk of Life Christian Center” in Rochester was handed the maximum sentence in city court on Friday.
Flowers was sentenced to seven years in prison - 10 years of post release parole - and is required to register as a sex offender.
The minister was accused of sexually abusing the son of church members between 2007 and 2010.
Flowers now faces another trial for alleged abuse of another victim.
