	Suspect Arrested for Assaulting Catholic Priest By Tiffany Glick Fox 6 August 23, 2011 http://www.myfoxal.com/story/15319222/suspect-arrested-for-assaulting-catholic-priest Birmingham Police have arrested a 55-year old Calvin Payne of Birmingham for allegedly assaulting Father Emmanual Isi of St. Paul's Cathedral in Birmingham. Police say Isi was assaulted following a traffic accident in the 5500 block of Ave H Ensley last Wednesday. Payne was arrested without incident, charged with attemped murder, and transported to Birmingham City Jail with a $60,000 bond. The Catholic priest was listed in critical condition at UAB Hospital on Friday and is expected to recover from his injuries.
