The Taoiseach Enda Kenny is expected to face further questions today about his assertions the Vatican obstructed the inquiry into child abuse in the diocese of Cloyne.

The Fine Gael Parliamentary Party will begin a two-day 'think-in' this afternoon in Galway, while Labour concludes theirs in Carlow.

The largest Fine Gael Parliamentary Party will gather for the first time since the election to review the party's performance leading the Government.

But on the face of it, Fine Gael backbenchers do not appear to be as worried about the party's performance as their Labour counterparts are.

Discussions in Galway will focus on budget preparation, the economy and jobs.

Labour will today focus on natural resources, the upcoming Dail session, the Presidential election and Constitutional reform.
